Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy
So the new Crash Bandicoot game is out and has been for while. One thing it would seem we have all rediscovered was how hard this game truly was. Back in the day when I was a kid we had some stupidly hard games like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on the NES, but none have really lived up to test of time.
This is where Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy is different. The game really does feel like Crash of old, but yet at the same time it does feel like a game made in 2017. It’s still hard as ever but it definitely hits all them nostalgic vibes.
The game plays at 30fps on the PS4 but it still looks awesome. The game is so colourful, everything feels so vibrant even when you’re only playing it at 1080p. To help stop getting in a rut with the game I have been swapping between the 3 Crash games to help give us some variety.
Here’s me playing the 2nd level from the 1st Crash Bandicoot:
The game does feel rewarding when you finish a level but jeez some have nearly had me wanting to break my controller. All in all it’s not a bad game but I would to say this is aimed mainly at the fans who loved Crash first time round.
Being a Mario & Sonic fan for me I do enjoy the franchise but due to the frustrating factor I can only enjoy this game in small doses.
