Farcry 4 Has Missed A Big Trick
One of my friends was raving about the new FarCry game being a really entertaining and he asked me to get a copy so then I could help him out on Co-Op. My friend told me to get plenty of the main quests done so then this in turns open up more of the Kyrat so in turn this would give us access to a wider choice of side missions we could do.
So I started the game and find myself in the back of a van, things go boom and the next thing is this eccentric guy in a pink suit putting his arm round you whilst killing his minions around him at his pleasure. This eccentric fella in is actually the games protagonist, Pagan Min. Pagan Min introduces himself to you and seems to know how you are, as such he invites you back to his palace to be wined and dined.
During your meal with Pagan Min one of your associates tries and calls for help via sending an SMS on their mobile phone, Pagan Min catches the person doing this and takes him away. Pagan Min tells you to wait 15 mins and he’ll be back so then you can go bury your mother’s ashes together.
If you have the patience to wait you get access to a secret ending where you can go do this with Pagan Min or like most people and myself this is where the main game starts for most people. Once you escape the Palace you’re on your way to go help the Golden Path fight Pagan Mins dictatorship.
After this the main protagonist only makes guest appearances in some missions and then calls you up on your CB radio after you have done certain missions. The developers had done such a great job giving the protagonist a unique personality I don’t feel they jumped on this the best they could. I was hoping to go on a rampage with this new dictatorship and tea everything up. Unfortunately that didn’t happen.
The actual gameplay though did make it up for the short fall but I do feel Ubisoft have missed a great trick here not allowing you to be play a direct part with Pagan Min. Nonetheless this does hopefully leave a great big gap that could be filled easily via a DLC pack.
Farcry4 definitely missed a big trick not giving you more insight to Pagan Min http://t.co/m0oFvSdSSE pic.twitter.com/sPJZoA7MSl
