Gaming with a 21:9 Monitor

My main monitor was only a 23inch monitor which I’ve had for some while, it was all working well but suddenly it got a mind of its own. Intermittently the monitors menu will appear and go off, and then 10 seconds later come back on. I thought it was a stuck button, but it didn’t appear to be the case. So after a short while I had enough of this and thought I’ll buy a monitor. A Christmas present to me from me So when I saw this on offer I thought why not.
